Las Cruces Man Charged for Sexual Assault of Mentally Handicapped NH Resident

A Las Cruces, New Mexico man is facing multiple charges, including criminal sexual contact and criminal sexual penetration.
The man, 70-year-old Larry Jennings, was found naked in bed with a female resident at a nursing home in Las Cruces. Staff became concerned when the woman, who is mentally handicapped, did not show up for breakfast.
According to a KTSM news report, family members state that since the alleged victim has a mental handicap, she is not able to give her consent.
